It may sound utopian to some. We receive weekly requests, here is one of her that I received today:

Certainly, and I am confident that the people of Haiti will come out with the support of investors, and people who believe and willing to undertake. This is not a sudden donations we help this population, but by guiding them towards self, their example. They know that they exist, they would love to, but do not have the framework to achieve this and tend to think that the revenue is profit. For these reasons, we will introduce micro-credit and know-how out of control.

When we talk about responsible tourism, we must understand, renovating houses, homestays, local cuisine, offering women often alone and without income, to receive tourists united in their homes, we will help decorate and to develop them. No way for us to make a commercial transaction or of the assistantship. But they may also contribute to local development, crafts, garden, selling fruit and vegetables, and local souvenirs, shells and other treasures of the pearl of the Caribbean.

Help so many women in poverty is a goal for us so that their children can attend school, but also develop them because I think many of them deserves. And especially the claws come out somewhat "macho" of some Haitians. It is no coincidence that we have many women to want to travel to Haiti during our trip in January 2011.
