This time, no eruption of the volcano and no problems are occurring behind to go again in Nice. Rene is also not "descended" alone, Laurence was also "the journey".

- We met the pupils of Public School who have Montbert action bake sale to benefit the association. We were able to show them some pictures and meet some of their questions.
- Then we went to the town hall of Aigrefeuille to meet some of the youth council. The youth are part of the humanitarian commission. We present our projects and the committee will meet to consider how to act on these projects: make an action in order to achieve a sail to Cow Island with the logo of the town hall of Aigrefeuille, salvage equipment music, etc. ..

At the golf tournament, held April 18 by the Rotary Club of Nice, René and Marie have spoken of them and especially the various projects of the association. This weekend, as stated in our news pages, we had two "operations" in favor of "Land and Islands of Hope":
- A site Vigneux of Britain Equestrian Land of Rohan, CEC amateur, pro and free cycles (Grand Régionnal), some members of the association has been involved, as volunteers, especially at the bar and the restoration. We even have one of our pans bigoudènes that came down to give us a hand.
- And in Nice, the Rotary Club of Nice, along with Rene Marie Tabarly our sponsor: a golf tournament.
And to get there, nothing has stopped our President Rene ... despite an ash cloud from a volcano in Iceland and a strike by SNCF, Rene is still going to Nice by car. It was keen to accompany Mary, and we understand that, in order to talk of Lands and Islands of Hope in the golf tournament.

A project that is important to us, as well as association president Gerard Humus 44, is to install next year's dry toilets. The Islanders are seeking to cow a latrine system that is virtually inexesistant on the island.

Not content with having ideas, they just make another fall, big game fishing (those who are concerned, are not obliged to read more), but fear not, it s' is not about you.
In connection with Guy , with whom Rene was last week at Canal +, they are quick, to locate fishing locations (marlin, swordfish etc ....) Based in Aquinas in the south of Haiti at the inn Bob "Sea Gardens", this organization would be 1/2 hour boat ride from the fishing area and also close to Cow Island. The goal is not to bring "big game" (humour!!) But to create jobs, about 10 people, and prove once again to Haitians, it's not just the assistantship in life. Already our guide Gemel "Ileavachois", is posted, and there will be others.
And since they did not intend to stop there, an eco tourism in Cow Island, hiking .... therefore wish. No cars, no roads, a change of scenery provided. Any takers!! The foundation THE DAMIER allowing us to build our first home home on the Ile à Vache, others should follow. We are looking for volunteers in this regard to get there in all trades.
