MOTIVATION FOR AUDREY
Unfortunately, this is the 2010 earthquake that made me know Haiti. At the time, and still today, it is difficult for me to go and hire me for several months. In seeking short-term missions on the internet I found the association lands and islands of hope. I immediately "hooked" with various projects, its investment on the island to cow.
Once the initial contact, everything went without hindrance. Helene Rene, Melinda, Martine, Corinne were very helpful and supportive in this démarche.Et I thank them wholeheartedly ...
AUDREY thank you for these little words, all young people who contact us for an internship in Haiti, you will understand, our refusal to support you, despite the urge to do so. You need to have a real job, training, no way for us to accept "nick students" in international solidarity, too fraught with consequence for us (our losses amount to more than 6,000 euros, without taking into bring discredit account by a GP) and for the people. The humanitarian is learned in the field by the experiments, while being supervised, and certainly not delivered or even, it is because such a person we have lost confidence, it is however not possible stays of actions and that we lack, we could provide to a dozen young stays of varying lengths, minimum 3 weeks to help us.

Audrey flew this morning to Port au Prince, she will be greeted on his arrival in the afternoon by Tijean and Barbara, a small party in Port au Prince, and Cayes for future road, and crossing to the island Cow .... Audrey our busy, between his days with Benita, liberal nurse at the orphanage to help sister Flora, the association of women Soulette solid, and all the steps that we have entrusted to him, she must go to Port au Prince recover sails that we sent to replace those that have been stolen (by the French it is a shame), another mission of Jacmel, Les Cayes and then return to the island to cow.
Hopefully the good spirits, for our part we are happy with the work done, regretting not having more, but Internet, telephone and Island Cow, do not mix.
She went yesterday afternoon with sister Flora, and our coordinator fanfan Haitien on the islet of stone from Nantes for distribution of rice and fishing equipment. We expect the photos from this expedition, which will rekindle some memories for some of us who went there in February.
